Triangle Gay Men's Chorus

Bill ToupsBill Toups started his singing "career" in his high school choir and Boys' Ensemble back in the 11th grade in the fall of 1967 and has been singing ever since. He received his B.A. in Music from Tulane University and his M.B.A. from University of New Orleans.  He has sung in choirs in various cities around the Southeast, including Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Atlanta, Jefferson City MO, Columbia MO, St. Louis, and Raleigh-Durham (including LGBT choruses in Atlanta and Baton Rouge/New Orleans), in college choruses, opera workshop productions, church choirs, community choruses, symphony choruses, LGBT choruses, and community theater productions.

Bill currently sings in three choruses in the Raleigh-Durham area: Voce Camerata & Consort, Vox Virorum Men's Chorus, and the Triangle Gay Men's Chorus. He is excited to have the opportunity in July to perform at his second International Gay and Lesbian Choral Festival in Denver, which occurs once every four years.

Bill works as a Production Management Consultant at MetLife on the Continuous Improvements team. He is divorced and has four adult children and four grandchildren.

Please join him to learn about the LGBT choral movement.
