The Piet Mondrian Effect

Piet Mondrian Effect 1 Piet Mondrian Effect 2 Piet Mondrian Effect 3

Piet Mondrian was one of the key influencers in modern art history, particularly from the De Stijl movement. His work shaped the way designers understand the process of connecting complex theories and simple shape and color. Mondrian is often considered the father of minimalism and reductive theory, creating work based off of the simplest elements of design. “The Piet Mondrian Effect” explores these types of relationships that Mondrian created which shape today’s contemporary art and design world.
