Carolina Aging Alliance - All You Want to Know
We are honored to have as our February 2025 MRS speaker Sharon Kilpatrick. She is the Triangle Regional Director of the Carolina Aging Alliance.
Her talk to us will be titled “Carolina Aging Alliance – All You Want to Know.” The organization was once called SAGE Raleigh/Central Carolina. It is a nonprofit that advocates for and provides services to LGBTQ+ persons 50 and older.
Sharon Kilpatrick has spent nearly 30 years in health care and gerontology. She was director of a county aging program in Ohio. She ran a guardianship agency. She worked as a supervisor in senior and clinical services with an international employee assistance program. She has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and is a Board Certified Patient Advocate. She has volunteered with SAGE and Carolina Aging Alliance since 2015.
The meeting will be on Sunday, February 23, 2025. We will gather at 7 p.m., eat a potluck dinner at 7:30, and begin the program at 8.
